It has been a busy couple of weeks in the 1/2 neighbourhood. We celebrated refugee week and discussed the importance of "CULTURE" Celebrating difference, Understanding other points of view, Learning about other cultures, Trying to speak to someone new, Using friendly words, Respecting other cultures, and recognising that Everyone is special.
In Mathematics we are learning all about fractions, we can recognise and make fractions using shapes and collections. We continue our learning about Sustainability and have re-used and     up-cycled the cardboard from our lovely new classroom chairs to make some thongs, with special beaded detail.
It's hard to believe the term is coming to an end- but we wish all our children and their families a safe and enjoyable holiday break.
