Prep Neighbourhood
The Prep children have been very busy with visitors who have all helped us to further understand about who helps us in our community and what they actually do in their jobs. This week we have Jack the veterinarian coming to tell us all about his job. Before Jack arrives we will come up with a list of questions to ask Jack.
In maths we have been learning about ordinal numbers and counting patterns.The prep children are all working so hard in the literacy block. We are focusing on reading skills such as rereading for fluency and comprehension, we call this smooth reading. In writing we are working on having a go at writing all of the sounds in the words we are writing as well as using capital letters and full stops.
