On Monday as part of our learning around caring for the environment and its animals the 3/4 students visited Healesville Sanctuary. We got up nice and early and met at school at 7:30 am. Once we arrived we had the opportunity to learn from the staff at the Sanctuary about animal life cycles and what we can help do to help the endangered animals of Australia. One of the highlights of the day was the ‘Spirit of the Sky’ show. It was exciting, yet terrifying when the birds of prey flew so close to our heads! It was a great day and we would like to thank our parent helpers for coming along and making the day possible.
