The Preps were fortunate to have a visit from Lisa from Bass Coast Landcare recently. Lisa collected water from the Wonthaggi Wetlands and transported it to our school and taught us about the water bugs that live in this habitat. Some of the bugs we found were sandhoppers, water boatmen, water strider, water mites, damselfly nymph, pond snail, fly larvae and pupa and backswimmers. We also found tadpoles and a fish!
